 Originally a small fishing village, Moraira has grown into a holiday resort with a difference. When you holiday in Moraira, you’ll appreciate how it has retained much of its original character and atmosphere, and its narrow and colourful main street. There is an extra cleaning fee of £35 for guests staying less than 14 days. Please note the following services can be requested before arrival: * bed linen and towels, per person, £9.50 * cot, £23.50 per week * extra cleaning, £35 * fan,£9.50 per week * high chair, £12 per week * hamper, £18 * extra bed (where possible), £59 A security deposit of £350 is required for incidentals. The security deposit is fully refundable within 2 weeks after check-out and subject to a damage inspection of the accommodation. Solar-powered heating - solar panels provide hot water for the villa, and for the swimming pool in late spring and early autumn when the ambient temperature is a minimum of 25 degrees. Additional Pool Heating - Oil-fired heating, when required, is charged upon meter usage. Central Heating - Oil-fired full central heating is charged upon meter usage. Air-conditioning & warm-air heating - Units to bedrooms and living room, charged upon meter usage. The Panasonic units are very cost efficient to run. Cost on average is about 1€ per day usage per unit when being used all the time. Ideal when hot at night to have temperature set at 16-18 degrees. More information about villa usage deposits & charges Additional Deposits OIL-FIRED BOILER - £50 Pounds (Sept-June) usage deposit (per week). AIR-CONDITIONING/WARM-AIR HEATING - £25 Pounds usage deposit (per week). This is required irrespective whether you will be using it or not, and the meter will be read upon the day of arrival, and departure. This will appear automatically on the booking form. Important Pool Heating Note - Please note that it is difficult to estimate the cost of pool heating, as you are able to control it yourself and heating depends on the ambient temperature during your period of stay. Should you use the heating economically, with a medium setting when it is not cold or wet using the pool cover (provided at most villas) at all times when the pool is not in use, then an approximate cost would be 10 Pounds per day, depending on outside temperature. Should you use the pool at the highest heat setting and leave it on 24 hours a day, with no pool cover blanket, then the price can escalate to 40 Pounds per day. Note that if the temperature of the pool is low at around 12 degrees then it could take up to 3 days to bring the temperature up to a very comfortable 29 degrees, after which the cost to maintain this temperature would reduce to about £5 per day, although, again, dependent on the ambient temperature and use of the pool blanket to keep the heat in.
