The Granary

The Granary is set in an amazing hillside setting with views to die for. This beautifully converted barn has been renovated to a high standard. Offering 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms it comfortably sleeps 5 people.The open plan ground floor makes it light, airy and spacious. With 3 sets of patio doors you can just step outside to the terraces that surround 3 sides of the Granary. Dining alfresco in this wonderful setting is a must. The oak fitted kitchen is well equipped and the large oak dining table offers plenty of seating.The Granary has been a very popular rental over the last 10 years. We continue to upgrade and improve the accommodation to ensure you have the best holiday experience. Secluded yet within easy access to local tourist attractions, market towns, caves, chateaux, restaurants, canoeing etc.

Although the Granary is rurally located it is near to plenty of local attractions, including chateaux, caves, quaint villages and restaurants, beach lakes, canoeing etc. There are lots of market towns within easy drive. This gastronomic area is well known for its truffles, walnuts, foie gras, duck and strawberries. We are situated in a National Park here in the Perigord Vert region of the Dordogne. It is undulating, with woods, valleys, rivers, limestone plateaux with caves, thousands of chateaux and plenty of history. St Jean de Cole, a local village has been voted as one of France's prettiest. The magnificent chateau at Jumilhac is well worth a visit along with the Venice of the Perigord - Brantome.
