Le Tournesol

The property of La Treille occupies just approximately 1 acre and sits perfectly amid the rolling hills of the Dronne Valley in between 2 quaint villages of Montagrier and Tocane St Apre. We are on a headland of the River Dronne - one of the most picturesque areas in France. Beautiful surroundings and immaculate accommodation in which to enjoy your holiday, unwind, relax and all within easy reach of the many sites and attractions that the Dordogne Region has to offer. The larger than average swimming pool (13 x 6 metres) is in between the main house and the old Tabacco barn where the gites are located. We have 3 gites. A small gite (Le Maize) ideal for couples or a couple with a child. This gite is attached to our main house although has it's own private entrance, terrace and gardens which look out over the gorgous panoramic views. The other 2 gites (Le Blé & Le Tournesol) are situated within the old Tabacco barn and sleep 2-5 persons each. Le Blé is a 3 bedroomed gite and Le Tournesol has 2 en-suit bedrooms. Around the swimming pool there is a tradional Boules Court and a shaded bar area. There is ample terrace around the pool for sunbeds which are provided along with parasols and cushions.

The property of La Treille is sited in an elevated position amid the rolling hills of the Dronne Valley in between 2 perfectly quaint villages of Montagrier and Tocane St Apre, with their numerous shops and restaurants. Montagrier is on a headland of the River Dronne and one of the most picturesque and desirable areas in the Dordogne to live. Don’t be deceived by the quiet rural lifestyle around La Treille, there’s plenty going on in the surrounding area. All within easy reach are the many pretty villages, towns, cities, sites and attractions that the Dordogne Region has to offer. Including Brantome ‘known as the Venice of the Perigord’, Riberac – with it’s huge Friday morning markets, Perigueux, Bergerac, Angouleme and Bordeaux. Notes to rental prices  
Prices shown are ‘per week’ & change over day is normally Saturday. Nightly rates and flexible arrival & departure days available for off peak seasons! A deposit of 35% of the total rental is required and the balance payment will become due 12 weeks prior to arrival date. Payments can be made directly, either into our UK bank account (Sterling) or into our French bank account (Euros) via Internet Bank Transfer or cheque payment. We also request a £200 /€200 Refundable Security Bond that is normally refunded within 7 days of departure date. Full terms and conditions are available upon request and include a cancellation policy although we stongly recommend you have your own ‘Comprehensive Travel Insurance’.
