How do I book my holiday at a property on this site?

You are able to book your stay direct with the owner or manager. Please use the enquiry form at the bottom of each information page. The owners will resond to you directly. If you experience any problem in getting a response please let us know via the Contact Us page.

Should I book my flights first or my holiday home?

It really is up to you. If you ask, home owners may be willing to reserve the holiday home for a few days whilst you book your flights.

How do I pay for my holiday rental?

You pay the owner or agent direct which helps you save money. We do not take commission or charge you for placing your booking through this site.

What currency do I pay in?

Each property owner or agent is asked to specify in what currency they would prefer payment - the information will be displayed on the property page. We suggest you re-confirm this when you make your enquiry to the home owner

How much does it cost to advertise my holiday home?

The cost to advertise your holiday home is £180 for 12 months which equates to just £15 per month. When you create your advert we give you an extra 6 months FREE so you get 18 months for the price of 12. You can pay by debit / credit card or PayPal.

How do I create an advert on Simply Holiday Homes?

  1. To create your advert please register via the 'Advertise property' button at the top right of this page www.simply-holiday-homes.com
  2. You will be taken to your private, password protected Advert Manager page
  3. Click on 'Create your advertisement' which is towards the top of the menu on the left and you will be asked to input information about your property
  4. Click 'Save changes' and follow the template to create your advert
  5. Please remember to click 'Save and Continue' at the bottom of each page

You will need up to 20 photos of your holiday home and we recommend that the first photo you upload is of the exterior of your holiday home including the pool (if you have one).This is the image that holiday makers will see in search results so it needs to be your very best photo. Photos should be JPG format.

Can I find out how many people have looked at my advertisement?

Yes. We provide you with stats of the number of people that have viewed your advertisement. The information is available within your private password protected Advert Manager page via the menu on the left. Just click on View Statistics.

Can I advertise more than one home?

Yes, you can advertise multiple properties with the same login. There are no restrictions on how many properties you can advertise and all are eligible for 6 months FREE advertising.

How long does it take for my advertisement to appear on the site?

When you have finished creating your advertisement please click the red Publish button on the Advert Manager screen. Your advert will be published on the site immediatly. All adverts are reveiwed by our team who will be in contact if they have suggestions to improve your advert. 

How do I add a review to my advert?

You can add reviews that you already have from past guests by clicking on the 'Write Review' link which is on your advert on the right just below the prices. This is located on your advert page as it is primarily designed for guests to use. Alternatively, you can email a link to your advertisement(s) to recent guests and ask them to write a review. Whenever a review is added you will receive an email asking you to log on to your Advert Manager to publish it. You have total control of which reviews you choose to publish. How do I make changes to my advert?

To update details on your advert log in to your Advert Manager via the 'Home Owners Sign In' link at the top right of our web site.  To make changes click on the 'pen' icon to the right of the thumbnail photo. This will take you to the advert template where you can edit information.  Click 'Edit' on the section you would like to update.

How do I update my availability calendar?

To update your availability calendar log in to your Advert Manager via the 'Home Owners Sign In' link at the top right of our web site. To make changes click on the 'pen' icon to the right of the thumbnail photo. This will take you to the advert template where you can edit information. To update your calendar click 'Edit' on the 'Availability' tab. To add a new booking click on the calendar icon next to the field for 'Start date' and select the date. Repeat this for the end date. You have an option to add a reference / name in the field below. Click 'Save changes' Your booking(s) will appear in a list on this page and will be shown in the calendar. You can delete a booking by clicking the 'dustbin' icon next to the booking in the list.

I have forgotten my password, what can I do?

If you have forgotten your password you can request a new one by clicking on the 'Home Owners Sign In' link on the top right of our web site. Click 'Forgot Password', enter the email address you registered with and click 'Submit'. Your new password will be emailed to you. If the email does not arrive within a few minutes please check your spam folder. If you have any challenges please contact us vis the Contact Us page and we will do our best to help you.

How do I update the prices on my advert?

To update your availability calendar log in to your Advert Manager via the 'Home Owners Sign In' link at the top right of our web site. To make changes click on the 'pen' icon to the right of the thumbnail photo. This will take you to the advert template where you can edit information. To update your prices click 'Edit' on the 'Prices' tab.and in the 'Add details' section please complete the fields and click 'Add'. Your prices will appear in a list on this page. You can edit existing prices by clicking on the 'pen' icon to the right of each pricing period. You can delete a pricing period by clicking on the 'dustbin' icon to the right of each pricing period. To return to your Advert Manager click 'Save and return to Advert Manager'.

How do I get enquiries?

Holiday makers will contact you direct via the enquiry form on your advertisement and you will receive their enquiry as an email. Please reply direct to the holiday makers. It is your responsibility to take bookings and payment for your holiday home. Simply Holiday Homes does not take any commission from you or the holiday makers.

Can you create my advert for me?

If you would like us to create your advert for you there is a small administration fee of £30 per advert. We will ask you to check the advertisement(s) for accuracy and let us know if any changes are needed. If you would like us to do this please send us an email to customerservice@simply-holiday-homes.com with a link to photos and information.
