Marsh View Cottage is equipped to very high standards to make it a cosy home from home with many extras.Nestled between the beautiful award winning sandy beach of Camber Sands to the front & protected marshland giving uninterrupted rural views to the back.The stunning medieval town of Rye with its cobbled streets & ancient buildings, independent retailers, cosy inns & tea rooms & good restaurants is only 5 minutes drive away.The area has something for everyone of all ages, from watersports,kite surfing, cycling, walking, fishing,birdwatching,sightseeing or simply relaxing, Rye & Camber Sands has it all. Located just within the borders of Kent & within the famous 1066 country, there is so much to see & do & is popular with our guests whatever the season.    The local area has something to offer everyone. With golf, fishing, and a variety of watersports just moments away those looking for an activity holiday are well provided for. There are also cycle routes and many good walks from the cottage. More information on cycle routes and walking is provided in the cottage. If you are a bird watcher or wildlife enthusiast you will not be disappointed! Rye harbour nature reserve is on the doorstep and there is an abundance of wildlife in the area. From the back of the cottage, the marshes are a designated SSSI [site of special scientific interest] and there are a number of protected species that inhabit the marshes including water voles and the great crested newt. The village of Camber has a couple of pubs including The Gallivants restaurant, bar and grill offering a range of delicious dishes made from local, free range and organic ingredients. The Green Owl also guests a further dining option within a few minutes stroll of the house. The delightful,picturesque, medieval town of Rye (less than 4 miles from Camber) offers an excellent selection of shops,pubs, cafés and restaurants. Alternatively buy and barbecue your own fresh seafood! There are three restaurants in walking distance of the cottage The cottage has many nearby attractions to visit, offering something for all ages.Being on the borders with Kent opens up many attractions to visit there too. Otherwise known as The Garden of England, Kent, like Sussex is steeped in history and Marsh View Cottage has tourist information for both counties.
