About Montignac, France

Montignac is a town in the Dordogne, in the Aquitaine region of south west France with a rich history. The Montignac area is known for its prehistoric caves including Lascaux and others at Les Eyzies and Rouffignac. The famous historic site of La Roque Saint Christophe is nearby. This kilometre long cave was inhabited since prehistoric times.
